I got my money!

So after that post I decided to call the customer service number on my receipt. I got to looking at my receipt and thought what do I have to lose? So they took my information down when really I thought they would just tell me if I should have received the discount for each $10! About 45 minutes later the manager calls me and I ask him about it....He really had no idea what the promotion was which I thought was funny to begin with and then Ryan gets home and I go down to Albertsons by myself and ask him about it with my receipts and he really didn't understand what I did....So funnier right? Not really I got to thinking because if I am explaining this to the manager who doesn't understand then how will anyone else know what to do! They gave me my money + tax which was nice and I was on my way home to eat dinner! Not a bad experience although I did split up my transactions Tuesday night when I went to make sure I got ALL of my discounts! Those instant discounts can be tricky but I have learned!!! I hope all of you have also! This concept came in handy teaching my coupon class last night, where I had about 2o ladies come with great questions and eagerness to either save money or build up a food storage! I love couponing!

So, I've been reading your couponing stuff and also your link to the Krazy Coupon Lady and I have a couple questions. It seems like a lot of work. Do you find its really worth it? I don't coupon at all but I am fairly thrifty I think. I shop at Winco (which is cheaper than Walmart) and buy only generic. I spend around $400 on groceries (and diapers) a month for our family of 5. Also, I was wondering if the price of all those newspaper subscriptions would outweigh any savings. Hope you don't mind all these questions, I just hear so much about couponing, I want to know more.

I do the couponing and pay about 20 to 30 percent of the total amount of what I actually buy. I go to Albertsons and get the regular brand but I really have built up my food storage by doing it. Thanks Carrie for getting me going.

Hey guys my comment isn't really related to your post but I wanted to let you know how things are going. We have been getting a lot of emails from expectant mothers this last week. By a lot I mean five but four of them have been from the same mother. I know it may not seem like much but every time we see an email from her in the inbox it gets us so excited. I can imagine this being what it's like for couples to feel their baby kick or see an ultrasound. Anyways, she seems really great and I just wanted you to know. Love you guys. Brad

Ryan Ryan Ryan . . . man I miss those lonely nights with you in Sweden, you kept me so warm, especially when it was 30 below. Before anyone asks its okay the missionary handbook says that companions can't share beds, we were never missionary companions.

Yay to good couponing. :) Way to be persistant too in getting your money. The managers may think that it's not that big a deal but when you have families every penny can count!
