An Okay deal

So Monday night I went to Albertson's as I had a ton of double manufacturer coupons. I used 9 of them that night in 3 separate transactions and was able to get what I thought was a lot but when I got home it didn't seem as much! I got: 4 boxes of Whole Fruit Bars, 5 boxes of Colgate toothpaste, roll of paper towels, and a 4 pk of toilet paper. All in all I only spent $3.52. I thought it was a great deal because I got 3 boxes of fruit bars, toilet paper, and paper towels which Albertson's paid me $.02 to take home. So my other ones I paid $1.77 each so it was nice to stock up on toothpaste and who can pass up free food right??!!
Albertsons just put out 3 more doublers this morning and I ended up with a lot of extra papers this morning so I am excited to see what I can get especially when Sunday's coupons come out!
Sorry these entrys are more like journaling as I want to see how I am doing now and then compare in a few months :)

Gas for $2.04

Lately Albertsons has become my new favorite store! I don't walk out getting all my groceries for free but I do pretty good! I got 5 boxes of 28 oz. cereal for $2.69 after all my coupons which I think is pretty good! But with all the groceries I have purchased at Albertsons I had accumulated a $.55 off each gallon of gas. We were able to fill up our van for only $2.04 / gal. I know this doesn't happen every week when we fill up our van but I thought in this economy I will take one tank a month with that price!
I know a lot of you are or have been into using coupons and personally, I just love it! I was talking with Ryan about a post I read one time about a husband getting into it! I laughed because Ryan loves to talk about it and when I come home after a good trip he is all excited on how much money I saved and what deals I got but I think it is a little overwhelming for him to do it on his own! I told him I have done my homework so I know what to do and what not to do! It also helps that I deliver the paper. I wonder if they run a special on like day after papers or something...Hmmm...I should ask! I don't always find good deals but I try! Also there are so many coupon websites out there it is amazing! They tell you what is on sale, what coupon to use (even print off the internet), what store has clearance, they do it for you! Some blogs are specific to Idaho, Northwest, even cities...For example, I didn't know there were Albertsons Double coupons in the Sunday paper since I only look through the ads and then a comment from a website said it was in the main section! I would have never looked there but am grateful that I have some doublers!!

Second Tooth!

Reese hasn't been sleeping well at night due to the fact her mouth totally hurts! I have always wondered if babies get headaches with teething, if only they could talk! But her bottom left tooth is in now! Yeah! She will be 11 months on the 27th of this month and we are just in shock how time flies! Seems like every time we have another kid life goes by that much faster! Reese is all over the place crawling as fast as she can! No face plants yet! She just starts laughing really hard when she goes really fast and then stops and sits up! She is so fun and loved by everyone! We hardly have her at church either due to Ryan and I being busy or someone being baby hungry! We have such great friends and family it makes it easy!
Reese gets plenty of attention by her siblings from kisses to calming her down if she is fussy!! Cooper and Chloe love their little sister and it brings me great joy seeing how they interact with and love her! Ever since Reese was born everyone has said she is beautiful and we have to agree she is just a beautiful little girl with an amazing spirit that is a special part of our family :)

Check out the tongue! A little crazy but finally got a picture!

Cooper's Backflips and Chloe's Cuts on her Face

Ryan took this video with his phone! Cooper one day decided that he was able to do black flips on our bed! We make sure that he knows he can only do them on our bed as you watch the video you will notice why! Maybe we will switch out swimming lessons for gymnastics lessons!

And earlier this day we went to cousin Trenton's All Star baseball game and Chloe the cute girl that she is didn't quite make the step from the grass to the concrete and whacked her face on the corner of the bleachers! OUCH! It is pretty blue and purple today since it happened 24 hours ago but the cuts are still pretty ugly...Poor thing :) There are two scratches but you can't see them both in this picture. This was taken again with Ryan's phone - I would say this takes pretty good pictures! It just makes my stomach turn when I see my kids get hurt...I even missed when it happened as I took Cooper to the bathroom but after about 10 minutes and some Skittles she was dancing to the music they would play between innings.

Finally 1st Tooth

Today was a great day! Taylor Dan came over and we were talking about Reese and I was telling her she still didn't have any teeth and I swear I just checked this morning! Reese does not like people putting their fingers in her mouth! Even her doctor hardly gets in there! So Taylor sticks her finger in there and says "there is a tooth in there" - I was so shocked! So thanks to Taylor for finding Reese's first tooth! I think it is her lower right coming in and hopefully since she is a little later than my other kids they will keep coming and she can get the first four in! She keeps flicking mostly at her right ear but I have taken her into the doctor twice and there is nothing! Her ears had a little fluid in them at her 9 month appointment and when I took her 3 weeks later it was clearing up! My kids seem to not spike fevers with ear infections so I take the flicking at the ears as a sign but not this time! I really can't complain that she is being fussy, she only wants to be held more and to eat food that she can "chew" on to make them feel better!

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

What a fun 5 days we have had! Thursday was Cooper's last day of T-ball practice and tomorrow he starts his first game! It is going to be entertaining I think with all 4 year olds running aroud a baseball field! Then we went to cousin Trenton's baseball game in the 95 degree heat but ended shortly after we got there! We are going to go this weekend to watch him play again :)
Friday Ryan had to work but I took the kids down to Tri-Cities to spend the day with my family! We went to the Field of Dreams and played for about 3 hours in the water area that is so much fun for the kids! The picture below is of Chloe that is obsessed with Cheetos. This girl ate almost half the bag between Friday and Sunday...We will put up the other one from camping when we download it from Ryan's camera!
Chloe loving her cheetos!
Cooper, Chloe, and cousin Jewel enjoying cupcakes...YUMMY!!
Saturday we headed up to the Duce property, which is a family that Ryan's family grew up with and are still close with! We set up camp and left for the parade....All 10 minutes of it :) Welcome to Kellogg, Idaho I guess! It was interesting yet fun for the kids and that is all that matters :)

Cooper hugging the NIC Cardinal during the parade
(waving to Smokey the Bear but I cut him off in the picture)
Ryan and Chris (Lona, Chris and their three boys are the family that invited us) entered a horse shoe throwing contest! Ryan was on a team with Lona's brother Chad and needless to say they didn't have beginners luck but it was fun for them! I took the kids on some bouncey castles in the meantime...We hit Humdingers, a burger place, and then roughed it at Ryan's parent's house with AC to cool off :) For dinner we headed back to the property to hang out until the concert and fireworks! The concert was fun, the kids danced and for some reason Cooper is obsessed with pretending to play a guitar! It is so cute but on the other hand is Santa going to bringing a guitar this year????? So I took him up after they finished playing and he shook the "cool" guitar player's hand...He was the one doing all the cool music on his guitar! The fireworks were kind of everywhere...We didn't know where they were going to have them so we watched for 10 minutes then as we were driving off we could see them all over so it was good enough for the kids :) Around midnight we fell asleep...Until 3:30am Chloe woke up and she was crying...She started to wake up Cooper and Reese so her and I slept in the van until 7am when Ryan came and got her...During the day on Sunday there were some other family members up there and another family so our kids got to play a lot :)

Reese and Addyson baby bonding

I think she likes the 4 wheeler :)

Sunday morning storm coming in faster than we thought or wanted :)

Sunday morning we had a bad thunder and lightening storm with some rain and then an hour later it warmed right up and we took the kids to the river which is right on the property! Sunday was better than Saturday at the river because of people floating the river...Some had too much to drink, or they were smoking or just plain rude!
Sunday night was interesting because about 9pm it started to rain and we got a huge thundering and lightening storm and within 30 minutes our tent was leaking inside so we loaded up and headed to Ryan's parent's house and slept there - nice and dry:) I know really roughin' right?! During the beginning of the storm it was so loud between the rain and thunder Cooper couldn't hear me talking, even though I was sitting right in front of him...He got a little scared until we played Star Wars with our glow sticks! Thanks Lona for the idea, HUGE hit! Monday morning woke up and packed up the van in the rain and came home!

Cooper LOVES babies, this is Brenden 3 months old and Cooper loved to get him to smile if Cooper was a little older he could be a great babysitter :)

Reese's play area due to the wet weather! She loved being in the river I just forgot pictures!

Ryan and I have not been camping for four years and it was so much fun! We want to go again and hopefully will find a weekend we can free up or just not go as long but it went by so fast...Even though I was looking forward to a nice HOT shower :)
