What a fun 5 days we have had! Thursday was Cooper's last day of T-ball practice and tomorrow he starts his first game! It is going to be entertaining I think with all 4 year olds running aroud a baseball field! Then we went to cousin Trenton's baseball game in the 95 degree heat but ended shortly after we got there! We are going to go this weekend to watch him play again :)
Friday Ryan had to work but I took the kids down to Tri-Cities to spend the day with my family! We went to the Field of Dreams and played for about 3 hours in the water area that is so much fun for the kids! The picture below is of Chloe that is obsessed with Cheetos. This girl ate almost half the bag between Friday and Sunday...We will put up the other one from camping when we download it from Ryan's camera!
Chloe loving her cheetos!
Cooper, Chloe, and cousin Jewel enjoying cupcakes...YUMMY!!
Saturday we headed up to the Duce property, which is a family that Ryan's family grew up with and are still close with! We set up camp and left for the parade....All 10 minutes of it :) Welcome to Kellogg, Idaho I guess! It was interesting yet fun for the kids and that is all that matters :)
Cooper hugging the NIC Cardinal during the parade
(waving to Smokey the Bear but I cut him off in the picture)
Ryan and Chris (Lona, Chris and their three boys are the family that invited us) entered a horse shoe throwing contest! Ryan was on a team with Lona's brother Chad and needless to say they didn't have beginners luck but it was fun for them! I took the kids on some bouncey castles in the meantime...We hit Humdingers, a burger place, and then roughed it at Ryan's parent's house with AC to cool off :) For dinner we headed back to the property to hang out until the concert and fireworks! The concert was fun, the kids danced and for some reason Cooper is obsessed with pretending to play a guitar! It is so cute but on the other hand is Santa going to bringing a guitar this year????? So I took him up after they finished playing and he shook the "cool" guitar player's hand...He was the one doing all the cool music on his guitar! The fireworks were kind of everywhere...We didn't know where they were going to have them so we watched for 10 minutes then as we were driving off we could see them all over so it was good enough for the kids :) Around midnight we fell asleep...Until 3:30am Chloe woke up and she was crying...She started to wake up Cooper and Reese so her and I slept in the van until 7am when Ryan came and got her...During the day on Sunday there were some other family members up there and another family so our kids got to play a lot :)
Reese and Addyson baby bonding
I think she likes the 4 wheeler :)

Sunday morning storm coming in faster than we thought or wanted :)
Sunday morning we had a bad thunder and lightening storm with some rain and then an hour later it warmed right up and we took the kids to the river which is right on the property! Sunday was better than Saturday at the river because of people floating the river...Some had too much to drink, or they were smoking or just plain rude!
Sunday night was interesting because about 9pm it started to rain and we got a huge thundering and lightening storm and within 30 minutes our tent was leaking inside so we loaded up and headed to Ryan's parent's house and slept there - nice and dry:) I know really roughin' right?! During the beginning of the storm it was so loud between the rain and thunder Cooper couldn't hear me talking, even though I was sitting right in front of him...He got a little scared until we played Star Wars with our glow sticks! Thanks Lona for the idea, HUGE hit! Monday morning woke up and packed up the van in the rain and came home!
Cooper LOVES babies, this is Brenden 3 months old and Cooper loved to get him to smile if Cooper was a little older he could be a great babysitter :)
Reese's play area due to the wet weather! She loved being in the river I just forgot pictures!
Ryan and I have not been camping for four years and it was so much fun! We want to go again and hopefully will find a weekend we can free up or just not go as long but it went by so fast...Even though I was looking forward to a nice HOT shower :)
